Manage athlete templates as a coach

Operational steps

   Go to `Profile > Coach > Athletes` and open the athlete.

   Open the `Template` tab inside the athlete dashboard.

   Tap a routine in the tab to open a quick detail with summary and `Full editor`.

   Tap `Manage templates` to stay in the athlete context and open quick actions across multiple templates.

   Use search to find a routine by name, description, tag, or included exercise.

• `Assigned templates` shows routines already present for the athlete.
• `Coach Library` shows coach templates not yet assigned to that athlete.
• The `Coach` badge marks templates created or managed by the coach.

What you can do from preview

• `Assign` adds a Coach Library template to the athlete.
• `Remove from athlete` removes only that person assignment; it does not delete the template from the Coach Library.
• `Duplicate for athlete` creates a personal variant and assigns it to that athlete.
• `Full editor` opens the template editor when you need broader structure, exercise, or detail changes.
• `Quick edit` is useful for changing set targets, reps, weight, RPE, timed work, rest, or notes on an existing exercise.

Quick actions across multiple templates

• Tap `Bulk actions` in the management screen to select assigned templates or templates from the Coach Library.
• `Assign selected` bulk assigns chosen Coach Library templates to the athlete.
• `Remove selected` bulk removes already assigned routines from the athlete.
• Bulk removal asks for confirmation and does not delete templates from the Coach Library.

Choose whether to edit one athlete or everyone

• `Only this athlete` creates a variant assigned to the selected person and leaves the template for other athletes unchanged.
• `All assigned athletes` updates the original and syncs denormalized assignment data.
• If the template already belongs only to that athlete, FitLog Pro can edit it directly without creating a variant.
• With the full editor, the athlete variant is created only when you save. If you leave without saving, the original assignment stays unchanged.

Create or import a routine for the athlete

• The `+` button asks for confirmation: when you create from this screen, the template is automatically assigned to the athlete.
• The created template also stays in the Coach Library, with feedback confirming it was assigned to the athlete.
• Import reuses the guided FitLog Pro preview: text, photo, and CSV all pass through the same exercise review before creation.
• CSV supports one row per exercise or one row per set, comma or semicolon delimiters, Italian or English column names, rep ranges, AMRAP, weight, rest, notes, and supersets.
• If you have routines on paper, use FitLogPro GPT to read them from text or photo; use CSV when the data is already structured.

What to expect

• You reach a verifiable result at the end of the flow.
• Saved data remains consistent with the guide objective.
• You can continue to related guides without extra setup.
